During the meeting one of the topics to discuss was the innovation component of the region’s development. According to the Governor, Dmitry Medvedev showed considerable interest in the technology park implementation and studied the presentation materials on the buildings construction and the new environment formation. Mr. Tolokonsky emphasised that the President considers this project to be very important for implementation of the strategy of Russia’s modernization.

 

Speaking about the innovation component, the Governor fully briefed about the results and potential of the International Youth Innovation Forum. Having shown considerable interest to the represented information, Dmitry Medvedev put forward a number of suggestions on the upcoming Interra organization and instructed the Presidential Executive Office to support the Forum.
