Prime Minister Vladimir Putin was a guest of the conference and projects exhibition.
In the Siberian Federal District the United Russia party gained its first experience of holding open interregional conferences. The subject of the conference was the strategy of development of Siberia for the nearest future. The strategy is based on the regional projects which were presented by the participating regions at the Exhibition of Siberia’s Achievements on April 9th in the House of Scientists in Academgorodok.
The most interesting projects, which were selected basing on the results of the conference, will be included in the plan of Siberia development for the nearest future. The Novosibirsk Region presented 10 projects, all of them are being implemented. One of the projects presented in the section “Civil Society” was the International Youth Innovation Forum “Interra”.
The “Interra” Forum was highly praised by the guests of the exhibition as an event contributing to creation of a positive image of the region both on the federal and international levels, and stimulating new technologies implementation in different spheres – from economy to culture.
