The conference brought together heads of the Ministry of Regional Development, the Ministry of Economic Development and heads of the regions of the Siberian Federal District. Prime Minister Vladimir Putin was a guest of the conference and projects exhibition.

In the Siberian Federal District the United Russia party gained its first experience of holding open interregional conferences. The subject of the conference was the strategy of development of Siberia for the nearest future. The strategy is based on the regional projects which were presented by the participating regions at the Exhibition of Siberia&amp;rsquo;s Achievements on April 9th in the House of Scientists in Academgorodok.
&amp;nbsp;
The most interesting projects, which were selected basing on the results of the conference, will be included in the plan of Siberia development for the nearest future. The Novosibirsk Region presented 10 projects, all of them are being implemented. One of the projects presented in the section &amp;ldquo;Civil Society&amp;rdquo; was the International Youth Innovation Forum &amp;ldquo;Interra&amp;rdquo;.

reports Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Victor Tolokonsky following the results of the working meeting with Dmitry Medvedev.

&amp;nbsp;During the meeting one of the topics to discuss was the innovation component of the region&amp;rsquo;s development. According to the Governor, Dmitry Medvedev showed considerable interest in the technology park implementation and studied the presentation materials on the buildings construction and the new environment formation. Mr. Tolokonsky emphasised that the President considers this project to be very important for implementation of the strategy of Russia&amp;rsquo;s modernization.
&amp;nbsp;
Speaking about the innovation component, the Governor fully briefed about the results and potential of the International Youth Innovation Forum. Having shown considerable interest to the represented information, Dmitry Medvedev put forward a number of suggestions on the upcoming Interra organization and instructed the Presidential Executive Office to support the Forum.
